Discourse analysis is a qualitative method that has been adopted and
developed by social constructionists. Discourse WriteUp is a tool to
help you do your analysis and write-up your report.
The application helps you code and categorise your extracts. From
there you can create a set of themes that reflect your analysis.
It can also do content analysis and will create tables of your data automatically at the click of a button.
If you want a visual display of the relationship between your themes
and codes, you can view and save a concept tree of your themes.
You can import text from newspapers, websites, or previous
transcripts based on your recordings of interviews or conversations, and
so on. The text is presented in a form that makes it easier to analyse.

ThemeCode is a separate application you can use to code themes. Use it to generate a visual display of themes and sub-themes (thematic map or theme tree); or use it to create a content analysis of the data (in table form); and use ti to create a summary of your themes and examples extracts (and export to MS Word).
